தினசரி நடக்கும் கொலை, கொள்ளைகளைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாமல் ‘சிங்கப் பெண்’ திட்டத்திற்கு நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு கூட செய்யாமல் வெறும் விளம்பரம் செய்கிறார். கோடைகால மின் தேவையை முன்கூட்டியே திட்டமிடத் தெரியாமல், மின்வெட்டுக்கு தி.மு.க மீது பழி போடுகிறார். 70 டாஸ்மாக் கடைகளை மூடிவிட்டதாகப் பொய் விளம்பரம் செய்துவிட்டு, அதற்கு அருகிலேயே ‘மனமகிழ் மன்றம்’ என்ற பெயரில் மது விற்பனை நடத்த இந்த அரசு வழிவகை செய்துள்ளது. தி.மு.க-வையும் அதன் தலைவரையும் எப்போதும் குறை கூறிக் கொண்டிருக்காமல் குறைந்தபட்சம் அவரின் வாக்காளர்களில் 10 சதவிகிதம் பேரையாவது தக்க வைக்க முயற்சிக்கலாம். முதலமைச்சர், பொதுப்படையாகச் ‘சூழ்ச்சி செய்கிறார்கள்’ என்று பேசுவது இருட்டில் நின்றுகொண்டு ‘பேய் வருது’ என்று பயமுறுத்துவதற்குச் சமம்” என விமர்சித்திருந்தார்.
இந்த இரு தரப்பு கருத்தையும் கவனத்தில் எடுத்து, ‘முதல்வர் விஜய்-யின் உரையை எப்படிப் பார்க்கிறீர்கள்?’ என மூத்த ஊடகவியலாளர் தராசு ஷ்யாமிடம் பேசினோம். அவர், “எளிமையான மேடை, மற்றும் அலங்காரம். வழக்கமான அலங்காரங்கள் இல்லாத பேச்சு இந்த இரண்டும் பாசிட்டிவ். மற்றபடி முதலமைச்சர் விஜய் அவர்களின் முதல் பேச்சு பெரிய ஏமாற்றம். இன்னும் கூடுதலாக ஓட்டு போட்டு இருக்கலாம் என்று அவர் கூறியது அரைகுறை வெற்றி என்பதை ஒப்புக் கொண்டதாகும். தி.மு.க கூட்டணியில் வென்ற கட்சிகளின் தயவோடுதான் புதிய ஆட்சி அமைந்துள்ளது என்பதை முதலமைச்சர் மறைமுகமாக ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறார். எம்.ஜி.ஆரை விட அதிக ஓட்டு வாங்கியதாக விஜய் கூறுவது தவறு.
அ.தி.மு.க 1977 போட்டியிட்டது 200 இடங்கள் மட்டுமே. விஜய் 233 இடங்களில் போட்டியிட்டார். எனவே ஒட்டுமொத்த வாக்கு கூடத்தான் செய்யும். ஆனால் 1977 எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் வெற்றி கிட்டத்தட்ட 140. மாற்று கூட்டணியில் இருந்து ஆதரவு பெறாமல் அவர் ஆட்சி அமைத்தார். எனவே ஒப்பீடு தவறு. கிட்டத்தட்ட 20 இடங்களில் மிகக் குறைவான வாக்கு வித்தியாசத்தில்தான் விஜய் கட்சி வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளது. 6 மாவட்டங்களில் எந்த இடமும் கிடைக்கவில்லை. விஜய் அலை என்று எதுவுமே இல்லை. ஒரு தேர்தலில் அலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது என்றால் குறைந்தபட்சம் 180 இடங்களில் வெற்றி கிடைத்திருக்க வேண்டும். ‘அல்லு சில்லு’ கட்சிகள் என்று விஜய் வர்ணிக்கும் அ.தி.மு.க எம்.எல்.ஏ-க்களின் ஆதரவு பெற்றுத்தான் பெரும்பான்மை நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டது.
தேர்தலுக்கு முன் ‘கல்லாப்பெட்டி கூட்டணி’ என்று விஜய் வர்ணித்த அதே கூட்டணியின் கட்சிகள் ஆதரவுடன் தான் நம்பிக்கை தீர்மானம் நிறைவேறி இருக்கிறது. 200 யூனிட் இலவச மின்சாரம், கூட்டுறவு கடன் தள்ளுபடி ஆகியவற்றில் எழுந்துள்ள சர்ச்சைகள் அதிகம். டாஸ்மாக் கடைகள் மூடப்பட்டுள்ளவை இப்போது திறக்கப்படுகின்றன. மேகதாது பிரச்னை, திருவள்ளுவருக்கு காவி, தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்து சர்ச்சை… இப்படி முக்கிய பிரச்னைகள் எதையும் விஜய் தன் முதல் பேச்சில் தொடக்கூட இல்லை. ‘எனக்கு ஏதாவது வாயில வரப்போகிறது’ என்று முதலமைச்சர் பேசியது அரசியல் அநாகரிகம்.” எனத் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.
