Since the announcement of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election results, the political scene in Tamil Nadu has been intensely active, drawing close attention across India. We spoke to some voters from Sathyabama Tharapuram and Perundurai constituencies, who said, "We voted for the candidate with trust and valued the double-leaf symbol to ensure their victory. But they have resigned in a way that breaks our trust. They are part of Chief Minister Vijay's party. At the very least, the party officials and the constituency people were not given a proper explanation for this decision. They have done this within just one month after being elected by us."
