Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Surya Kant, recently referred to the youth as "cockroaches." This sparked significant opposition, leading to the creation of a page called "Cockroach Janata Party" on the X platform. The page quickly gained millions of followers but has now been shut down. In protest against labeling the youth as cockroaches, P. Shanmugam, the state secretary of the Marxist Communist Party, said, "They say one word can win, another can kill. Similarly, the term 'cockroach' has sent the united BJP rulers into a frenzy."
The youth have turned the insult of being called cockroaches into a weapon and attacked back, saying, "This is also a way to express opposition to the rulers."
