In the Coimbatore South constituency, Senthil Balaji is contesting on behalf of the DMK, and Amman Archunan is contesting on behalf of the AIADMK. இது தொடர்பாக அவர் கூறியதாவது, “சட்டமன்ற பொது தேர்தல் தொடர்பாக அதிகாரப்பூர்வமில்லாத செய்திகளை வதந்திகளாக பரப்பி வாக்காளர்களிடையே குழப்பத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் முயற்சியில் யாரும் ஈடுபட வேண்டாம்” என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
