Dharam – தரம்

Dharam is commonly associated with the Sanskrit idea of dharma, referring to duty, righteousness, and moral order. In Tamil contexts a similar-sounding word (tharam) means quality, rank, or standing, so the name can also suggest worth or excellence. Depending on family usage, it may carry either or both of these positive associations.
