In a special parliamentary session, the response given by DMK MP A. Raja to BJP MP Tejasvi Surya has gone viral online. Today, a Women's Reservation Bill was introduced in the parliamentary session. Following this, the government side proposed to take up the Delimitation Bill for discussion in Parliament. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya faced strong opposition from opposition MPs including Congress and DMK. They expressed concerns that if constituencies are redrawn based on population, the representation of states that have effectively controlled population growth would decrease. Due to the opposition's outburst, there was shouting and chaos in the assembly.

இந்நிலையில் தேஜஸ்வி சூர்யாவிற்கு பதிலடி கொடுக்கும் வகையில் பேசிய ஆ.ராசா, “1971-இல் பாகிஸ்தான் போர் தொடுத்தபோது நாட்டைக் காக்க ரூ.6 கோடி நிதி கொடுத்தோம். இது மற்ற மாநிலங்களை விட அதிகம்.
1999ம் ஆண்டு வாஜ்பாய் பிரதமராக இருந்த போது கார்கில் போருக்காக கலைஞர் கருணாநிதி தலைமையிலான அரசு ரூ.100 கோடி கொடுத்தது.
