Since it was a constituency where M.K. Stalin stood and won three times, Chennai Thousand Lights was once considered a VIP constituency. For some unknown reason, Stalin later shifted to Kolathur. However, in the same Thousand Lights constituency in 1991, J. Jayalalithaa defeated Stalin for the first time in the Chief Minister election, and the person who defeated him was K.A.K., known as K.A. Krishnasamy. He was the brother of K.A. Mathiyazhagan, a close friend of Anna and the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Following Mathiyazhagan, Krishnasamy entered politics and was the second member after M.G.R. when the AIADMK party was founded and the first membership card was issued.
He was appointed as the first organizing secretary of AIADMK by M.G.R. Later, he also served as the editor of 'Thennagam,' the first official magazine of AIADMK. He was the one who bestowed the title of "Revolutionary Leader" on M.G.R. He won three times even before Stalin stood in the Thousand Lights constituency. He was a minister in M.G.R.'s cabinet and also served as a member of the Rajya Sabha. He held ministerial responsibilities in Jayalalithaa's cabinet as well and took care of the Law Department.
K.A. Krishnasamy's house, with such a traditional background, is located in Gopalapuram, which falls under the Thousand Lights constituency. In this context, Krishnasamy's son, K.A.K. Mukhil, had submitted a preference letter requesting the Thousand Lights constituency for this election. He currently holds a youth wing position in the party. Edappadi Palaniswami is inclined to give the seat to him. However, Valarmathi said, "I am getting old. I don't know if I can contest another election. So, please give me the seat this one time," and she insisted and secured the constituency. Therefore, "Our rule will return. The field is favorable for us."

பிறகு அதிமுகவின் முதல் அதிகாரபூர்வ பத்திரியகையாக வெளிவந்த ‘தென்னகம்’ பத்திரிகையின் ஆசிரியராகவும் இருந்தார். எம்.ஜி.ஆர்.க்கு புரட்சித் தலைவர் பட்டத்தைச் சூட்டியது இவர்தான்.
ஆயிரம் விளக்கில் ஸ்டாலின் நிற்பதற்கு முன்பே மூன்று முறை வென்றவர். எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அமைச்சரவையிலும் அமைச்சராக இருந்தார். மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினராகவும் இருந்திருக்கிறார்.
