அதாவது, “காங்கிரஸைச் சேர்ந்த மாணிக்கம் தாகூர், ஜோதிமணி எல்லாம் எம்.பி ஆகிவிட்டனர்.
இனி மற்றவர்கள் எம்.எல்.ஏ ஆனால் என்ன ஆகவில்லை என்றால் என்ன என்று சொல்லி அதில் பங்கு வேண்டும். இதில் பங்கு வேண்டும் என பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
இதையெல்லாம் தலைமை புரிந்துகொண்டு அடுத்து இவர்களுக்கு எல்லாம் சீட் கொடுக்கவே கூடாது. நாம் இல்லையென்றால் இந்திய கூட்டணியே கிடையாது.
ஒரு தொகுதிக்கு 2 ஆயிரம் 3 ஆயிரம் ஓட்டுகள் தான் இருக்கிறது. வார்டுகளில் ‘பூத்’ கமிட்டி போட ஆள் இல்லாதக் கட்சி காங்கிரஸ்.

தொகுதியைத் தக்கவைப்பதில் உள்ளூர் திமுக தரப்பிலும் மிகவும் உறுதியாகவே இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் மதுரை வடக்கு தொகுதியைப் போலவே தமிழ்நாட்டில் பல்வேறு தொகுதிகளில் திமுக கூட்டணியில் சலசலப்பு நிலவிக் கொண்டிருப்பது ஊர் அறிந்ததே! எனவே கட்சிகளின் தொகுதி டக் ஆஃப் வாரின் முடிவிலேயே… எந்தெந்த தொகுதிகள் கூட்டணியில் எந்தெந்த கட்சிக்கு என்பது வெட்டவெளிச்சமாகும்.
