Udumalai: At the Podipatti Panchayat office in Udumalai, arrangements have been made by the panchayat for anyone who is hungry to take biscuits and bottled drinking water. This humanitarian act by the panchayat has received praise from many. There are 38 panchayats under the Udumalai union in Tiruppur district. Among them, Podipatti Panchayat on Thali Road is one of the panchayats with a large population.
