New Delhi: It has been reported that the seat-sharing for the mega alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections has been finalized. Accordingly, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is expected to contest in 135 constituencies, while the Congress will contest in 61 constituencies. In Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance is governed under the leadership of United Janata Dal leader Nitish Kumar. The BJP is a key ally with its two deputy chief ministers. A mega alliance has been formed with members of India’s national opposition coalition. There was a tussle over the seat-sharing within this RJD-led alliance.
