Many officials from two parties were injured and taken to the hospital. Although the event was stopped, the police could not calm both sides. However, no one left and they stayed there, only dispersing after 9 o'clock. இதில் தருமபுரி திமுக எம்.பி ஆ.மணி, முன்னாள் அமைச்சரும் பாலக்கோடு எம்.எல்.ஏ-வுமான கே.பி.அன்பழகன், நாதக மாநில ஒருஙகிணைப்பாளர் சந்தோஷ்குமார் உள்ளிடடோர் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இவர்களுடன் திமுக, அதிமுக, நாம் தமிழர் கட்சித் தொண்டர்களும், பொதுமக்களும் வந்திருந்தனர்.
தருமபுரி மாவட்ட மக்கள் நீண்டகாலமாக எதிரபார்க்கும் திட்டங்கள், தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகள், பழைய பேருந்து நிலையம் மாற்றப்பட்ட விவகாரம் குறித்து எழுப்பப்பட்ட கேள்விகளுக்கு எம்.பி மணி, அன்பழகன் எம்.எல்.ஏ பதில் அளித்தனர்.
