தி.மு.க-வுடனான கூட்டணியை இறுதி செய்வதில் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி பல்வேறு சிக்கல்களை சந்தித்து வரும் நிலையில், தி.மு.கவுக்கு செக் வைக்கும் ஏற்பாட்டில் களம் இறங்கியுள்ளது காங்கிரஸ்.

இதனிடையே தமிழக காங்கிரஸ் கமிட்டி அடுத்த அதிரடி திட்டத்தை கையில் எடுத்துள்ளது. தி.மு.கவிடம் தங்கள் பலத்தை காட்ட முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது. ராகுல் காந்தியை அழைத்து சென்னையில் ஒரு லட்சம் நபர்கள் பங்கேற்கும் பேரணி ஒன்றை நடத்தி காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் பலத்தை காட்டும் முடிவை கையில் எடுத்துள்ளதாம்.
